Zion National Park
Attendance at Zion National Park has skyrocketed in recent years. This has a lot to do with the incredible hiking experiences and overall natural beauty throughout the park. By driving just 20 miles, guests staying in Hurricane can experience the incredible Zion National Park landscape.

Bryce Canyon National Park
Though smaller than Zion, Bryce Canyon National Park has a lot to offer guests. The incredible amphitheater has many beautiful trails and there are countless hoodoos scattered throughout the park. Bryce Canyon National Park is about 85 miles from Hurricane, but the amazing experience is well worth the drive.

The North Rim of the Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is one of America’s most well-known landmarks. Visiting this massive canyon is a once in a lifetime experience. Though the 140-mile-long drive is long, there is so much to do and see at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon that guests will not want to miss this experience.

 

Beautiful Bodies of Water


People don’t tend to think of watersports when considering activities to do in Utah. However, Hurricane has many beautiful bodies of water for guests to enjoy nearby. Visitors can fish, wakeboard, boat, ride watercraft, and enjoy many other water activities on the lakes, rivers, and reservoirs near Hurricane.

Sand Hollow
Sand Hollow is a relatively new body of water just outside of Hurricane. The reservoir is surrounded by sandy beaches, gorgeous rock formations, and there are many camping sites available. Visitors can enjoy tons of exciting water activities on the beautiful waters of Sand Hollow.

Virgin River
This long and winding river cuts through Hurricane. Guests love to spend their days on the Virgin River skim boarding, white water rafting, and just relaxing on the river banks. The Virgin River is just one of the many natural features that make Hurricane beautiful.

Lake Powell
This reservoir is yet another beautiful body of water in southern Utah. Though 130 miles from Hurricane, Lake Powell is such a gorgeous sight, it should not be missed. Lake Powell is filled by the Colorado River and is set against a backdrop of amazing rock formations.

Southwestern Utah is known for its fabulous golfing weather. Just outside of Hurricane, there are two well-maintained, high-class golf courses to enjoy. Professional golfers and novices alike will enjoy playing a few rounds on these fantastic courses.

Coral Canyon
This incredible course is a par-72 with 80 acres of turf. There are 55 sand traps, 2 lakes, and many other obstacles to make each hole a challenging and exciting experience. Guests can golf all 18 holes or play a quick 9 for an afternoon of fun.

Sky Mountain
Sky Mountain is an 18-hole course that is maintained by the city of Hurricane. In addition to the course, Sky Mountain has a driving range, practice green, and bunker. Spending time on the green at this beautiful course will give golfers a chance to relax and unwind during their vacation.
